The market is open every day from 9 November until 23 December.

  • Family festive weekends at Tredegar House, Newport

Tredegar House is a beautiful National Trust property in Newport that offers the perfect family day out. During December, the property will also host family festive weekends.

Family festive weekends take place on the weekends of 9 and 10 December, and 16 and 17 December.

  • St Donat’s Castle, Vale of Glamorgan

St Donat’s Castle is a truly spectacular venue, and this year you can enjoy a two-day Christmas market within its stunning grounds.

The market runs on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December, so wrap up warm and head out for some Christmas cheer.

  • Christmas at Bute Park, Cardiff

For something a little bit different, head to Bute Park in Cardiff this festive season. The light trails there offer an immersive experience featuring illuminations, original audio compositions, and dynamic choreography.

The routes are fully accessible, and you can also indulge in some delicious street food from local vendors while you’re there.

The light trails are open from 24 November until 1 January, but make sure you book your tickets soon as the event is likely to sell out.

  • Bath Christmas Market

The picturesque streets of Bath become even more magical with the return of the Bath Christmas Market. Sip a mulled wine beneath the beautiful cathedral or try some local food and drink while milling about through the cobbled streets.

Exhibitors offer a wide range of gifts, treats, and decorations to choose from. If your feet become tired, why not stop by the cathedral for a festive carol service?

With so much to do and see, Bath offers the perfect destination for a festive weekend trip. The market is free to visit and runs from 23 November until 10 December.
